He Is Risen is a musical passion play that depicts the events surrounding the passion, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus as seen through the eyes of a Roman centurian witnessing these events. The play includes multiple characters including Peter, Mary Magdalen, Mary the Mother of Jesus, Judas, Caiaphas, Pontius Pilate, Pilate's Wife, and Roman soldiers. There are multiple solos as well as several chorus pieces in this production.
